We offer various excursions like a fishing tour, a panoramic tour and a romantic tour, but we also provide the possibility to do a mix of everything – every trip is individual, the decision is yours! The highlight of every tour is the possibility to visit the unique cave of “Piedigrotta” at Pizzo – with our fishing boat you disembark directly at the beach and you will reach the cave after only 50 meters. The “Piedigrotta” is a natural cave, eroded by the water and the salt of the sea and decorated with countless sculptures. Up to today there is no current inside and so the mystic atmosphere and the incomparable play of light and shadow did not change since 400 years – not for believers and not for visitors!
All excursions start and end at the port of Vibo Valentia Marina. The trip duration is about three to four hours, in addition we pick you up directly at your residence. Once embarked, you enjoy a maximum of comfort on our new fishing boat which is constructed according to all safety standards of the RINA and CEE up to twelve miles from the coast. The boat is fully equipped with fishing rods and materials for various fishing methods like trolling, light drifting, spinning, long line fishing or vertical jig and our experienced skipper will give you a professional guidance and explain you all the secrets and tricks of the trade for catching the biggest fish. In fact, when he was just five years old he spent more time on sea than on land - two old sea-wolves passed him their passion for fishing and the love for the sea. After attending a nautical school, in 2007 he fulfilled his dream with buying a fishing boat. Since that time he organizes boat trips for tourists from all over the world trying to pass his passion and respect for the natural beauty of the Calabrian Sea. He knows the waters along the Costa Degli Dei from Pizzo up to Tropea like the back of his hand and makes every trip being an excursion into the magical world of fishing and the abundance of the sea by explaining the sea and the life in it as well as by telling you numerous stories of the day-to-day life of the Calabria people and their culture.
